I have Kirsten's lunch (pre-Mattel) which is very very nice and realistic. The tine broke but the food is great and the woven napkin is a nice touch.
Kirsten's party treats get a lot of use. The cake is very sweet and looks yummy! The strawberries are tiny and can get lost easily but they compliment the cake nicely.
Felicity's tea lesson-the Queen Cake is very tiny and so cute! The cup and saucer and real china (breakable) and look like minature copies of the real thing. The spoon is a standard doll sized spoon. The wood tea caddy is gorgeous and this set is well worth the money!
Felicity's party treats-the food is cute and nice but so small it can get lost. The glass salver and vase are breakable and the figurine looks breakable too.
Samantha's lunch-Mattel version. The food is squishy but not too bad. It is very very cute and Victorian! The tea tin tarnishes but looks very antique that way.
Kaya's food The best of the bunch! the huckleberries are magnetic so they don't get lost. There is a large plasticy hunk of berries that looks fake but everything else is realistic. Kaya loves to eat her dried salmon and cute little finger cakes. The basket is beautiful and very high quality though it seems like it is too big in scale.
Josefina's bizcochitos- the silver tray is heavy and feels like real silver! The cookies are so tiny and adoreable and double nicely as Felicity's Shrewsbury cakes!
FIMO food made by Cherry-the absolute most realistic doll food you'll ever find!
Fimo food made by me-um... well the popcorn came out great and looks good enough to eat!
